4 DETOX MYTHS DEBUNKED
1. DETOX IS STARVING YOURSELF
Detox is all about nourishing your body with essential vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients so it can efficiently pull the toxins OUT of your cells and eliminate them.
Too often we don't have enough nutrients to convert the toxins into an "intermediary" form that the body is able to safely eliminate through sweat, urine, and feces.
In order to do this effectively, not only do we need essential amino acids, calories, and nutrients, but we need to also heal our gut lining in the process.
2. YOU DON'T NEED TO DO A CLEANSE BECAUSE YOUR BODY ALREADY DOES THAT
If you've been struggling with weight gain, fatigue, foggy brain, and pain, chances are you are highly toxic.
We live in a toxic world, and the toxins in our bodies like to reside in our fat cells. Not only does this make it hard to get rid of fat, but this further disrupts the receptors on our cells, which effects hormone sensitivity, including thyroid, insulin, cortisol, and sex hormones.
It's not enough to change your diet and exercise more. We need a strategic way to eliminate the toxins from our bodies, then symptoms and weight gain will be easier to address.
Left to do nothing, overtime our bodies will become highly acidic and diseased.
3. I CAN DETOX WITH FOOD
This is partly true. In most cases, our bodies can detox if given necessary nutrients.
The truth is that many foods today are toxic (as a result of additives, preservatives, artificial ingredients, etc.) and pathogens abound in our gut microflora. It is likely we have more bad bacteria in our gut than good bacteria. This is bad news because gut bacteria outnumbers our own cells 10 to 1. So you have to stop and think, is the food you eat nourishing your cells or your bad bacteria?
Think of detox as an oil change for your car. If you've been putting regular fuel in a luxury car that is meant to take premium fuel, it doesn't matter if you clean up your act and start to put in premium fuel. All the junk and gunk that's built up from the regular fuel will need to be cleared out in order for the premium fuel to be used to its full effectiveness.
Similarly, if you've been eating a poor diet, we must clean house and eliminate the toxins that have built up as a result of your diet. Once that happens, eating nutrient dense, whole foods will nourish your body so much more.
4. THE DETOX IS GOING TO BE SO HARD!

HOW DOES THE ALKALINE DETOX PROTOCOL WORK?
We need to remove all toxins and pathogens that are ACIDIC to our bodies. In order to safely detox the toxins out of our cells, we need to supply them with essential nutrients that will neutralize the toxins, protect our cells, and allow our bodies to safely eliminate the toxins.
Our gut lining is our first line of defense against toxins. To repair the gut, we must provide it with immunoglobulins and an abundance of bioavailable nutrients to allow it to build defense against pathogens and toxins. Our supplements and shakes provide the highest quality bioavailable nutrients.

PHASES OF THE ALKALINE DETOX PROTOCOL
Phase 1: Preparation
With any health endeavor, getting crystal clear is KEY in your success. During the Preparation Phase, you'll internalize the "big picture" of what you need to do, how you need to do it, and why you're doing it, so your mind can be primed for the next 12 weeks.
We'll show you step-by-step how to get organized, prepared, and ready to dive into creating a healthy life that will improve all other areas of your life. From organizing your pantry and refrigerator, to gathering the staples you need for the kitchen, we'll guide you through the process.
You'll absorb and review the plan for the rest of the program and get clear on what you'll be eating and what supplements you'll be taking.
Phase 2: Detox
This phase is where the detoxification actually takes place. You'll be on an anti-inflammatory diet and taking supplements and shakes to nourish your body so it can safely detox.
We need your FULL trust in guiding you on exactly what you'll be eating for the next 28 days. We've made things easier for you by predetermining all menu items.
Confusion will send you spiraling back to your old habits. Therefore food choices are CLEARLY laid out so you don't have to make any decisions. We've already made those decisions for you.

Phase 3: Reintroduction
This is the most important phase of the Alkaline Detox Protocol, so after the Detox Phase, you're not quite finished.
The Detox Phase created a CLEAN slate, so now we want to know what foods were causing reactions in your body prior to the detox.
Now that you've reset your body so things can work optimally, we are ready to introduce certain foods you eliminated during the Detox Phase.
We provide a strategic calendar you will follow to reintroduce all foods, and you will track and assess any symptoms that arise during this phase.
This is when you'll discover what foods to stay away from and what foods you tolerate so we can create a maintenance plan that's right for you.
